Beautiful Vintage King Pyramid 232 Bakelite Telephone 1930s

In very lovely condition this original GPO 232 King Pyramid bakelite telephone with bell is in full working order having been adapted for UK telephone system. The pyramid design gave these telephones a very elegant and distinctive look. They were introduced in 1935 and continued through the 1950s, with some remaining into the 1970s.

The dial mechanism is very smooth and has a replacement chrome dial, we also have the black dial and will include this. There is a tiny hairline scratch on the front base (see picture) but this is hardly noticeable and doesn't detract from the beauty of this vintage piece. The bakelite outer case has been carefully cleaned and polished to bring the telephone back to its former glory!

A great collectible, but working piece and a great investment.
