A beautiful example of a 1940s Herbert Terry 1209 floor lamp. The elegant lines and iconic design has made these Herbert Terry lamps highly sought after.

The light has been fully refurbished, stripped, polished and re-wired for domestic use whilst retaining all of its vintage charm. The brass arms are gleaming and the original Revo stand has been re-painted in a hard wearing black satin enamel paint. The lampshade has been stripped and polished, with a few marks and dents in line with its near 80 year history. The lamp is complete with a new bulb holder and vintage style twisted fabric cable in a deep burgundy colour which contrasts beautifully with the brass arms.

A stunning piece which is hugely versatile - its 4 castors on the trolley base make the light highly mobile, whilst the anglepoise and pivoting lamp make the light perfect for detailed task work or even reading your favourite book.
